I was tasked with revamping and promoting the struggling YouTube channel NoizeTV with the goal of eventually selling it as a Roku channel.
Becoming a Roku channel was a challenging process, requiring a certain number of subscribers, views, and interest. To achieve this, I created unique and engaging events that attracted subscribers and showcased the channel's wild and unconventional content. One of the most popular shows was "Midget and a Retard," where a little person and a person with intellectual disabilities were put in hilarious and entertaining situations. I also produced variety shows featuring dance and skateboarding. With these efforts, I was able to reach the required 10,000 subscribers and transform NoizeTV into a Roku channel. Eventually, an undisclosed company acquired the channel for an undisclosed amount of money, making this project a success. My responsibilities included driving subscriptions, promoting the channel, and creating engaging content that would attract viewers and advertisers. |
