Giving Back The House  DVD

For the comical & informational DVD, Giving Back The House, I was responsible for creating a hilarious yet informative video that showcased what someone should do if a bank unjustly forecloses on their home. My team and I showcased different ways that viewers could make some cash during the foreclosure process so that they could have some money with them when they left their home. Our goal was to help homeowners who were affected by the 2008 crisis when banks were taking advantage of them and making money off of foreclosures.

One of the unique features of the video was that we had an actual banker share the behind-the-scenes actions of these banks and how they were flipping houses and people out of them, all for profit. We knew we had a hit on our hands when Figure Jones went on various national radio shows promoting the DVD. Its success was so great that an unnamed bank offered an undisclosed amount of money to buy out the rights to the DVD, so it could not be sold anymore. Despite this, our project was a great success, and we were proud to have helped so many people during a difficult time.
